Please be informed that one of our Upstream Network Provider will be conducting a Scheduled Network Maintenance which will impact our MYA Datacenter Network.
 
The maintenance details are as follows:-
 
Maintenance Date/Day:  24th February 2017 (Friday)
Maintenance Time:  12:01am - 1:00am (GMT +800)
Maintenance Downtime: 15 minutes
 
The purpose of the maintenance is to perform network hardware upgrade.

SECURITY ALERT : New updated PHP Version for EasyApache 4 [INFO]

ATTENTION: All cPanel owners / administrators. 
 
 
Dear valued customers,
 
We were informed by our security team that cPanel, Inc. has released updated RPMs for EasyApache 4 on January 25, 2017 with PHP version 5.6.30, 7.0.15, and 7.1.1.
 
This release addresses vulnerabilities related to CVE-2016-10161, CVE-2016-10162, CVE-2017-5340, CVE-2016-7479, CVE-2016-10158, CVE-2016-10159, and CVE-2016-10160.
 
We strongly encourage all PHP 5.6 users to upgrade to version 5.6.30, all PHP 7.0 users to upgrade to version 7.0.15, and all PHP 7.1 users to upgrade to version 7.1.1 to prevent any injection in their website.

SOLUTION
cPanel, Inc. has released updated RPMs for EasyApache 4 on January 25, 2017, with updated versions of PHP 5.6, 7.0, and 7.1. Unless you have enabled automatic RPM updates in your cron, update your system with either yum update or WHM's Run System Update interface.

We received following announcement from our network upstream provider end.

Please be informed that TATA observing an outage on submarine cable TGA Intra Asia since 09:27 GMT on 11th Jan 2017, and due to this all channels down on all fiber pairs and a drop in PFE voltage. Initial observation shows TATA lost all traffic coming out of Singapore on the S1 portion of TGN IA.
 
All traffic in/out of both Singapore and Vietnam will remain down until the repair can be scheduled.

There is a 1 week delay in the schedule, the repair is now expected to take place between 10th February - 17th February.

This is a best case scenario and contingent on receiving Singapore and Malaysia permits.The Primary vessel will be the CS Durable, backup vessel is the CS Lodbrog.

The cable ship CS Lodbrog reached the site at 23:00 GMT, 18th Feb 17 and started ROV fault finding at repair grounds since 00:11 GMT, 19th Feb17.

Latest update on TATA-TGN-Intra Asia Seg1 repair:
 
The vessel has recovered almost all cable length until the 2nd shunt fault, but had to stream the cable due to daylight work timing yesterday. The crew expects to be at about less than 100 meters of the shunt fault & has resumed the recovery & testing. There still are several fishing nets and ropes tangled with the cable.
 
The estimated completion of the repair for the final bight deployment & testing is 28th Feb 2017. Inspection/survey would be done on 1st March.

Latest Update on TATA TGN-IA Seg1-
 
The Singapore cable end side was recovered by grapnel this morning at 10h27 LT.
 
Today's plan is to recover the Singapore's cable side on an Westward direction & test the cable until the fiber faults / damaged cable are cleared.
 
The estimated completion of the repair for the final bight & testing is 4th March.
