We thank you for your tenure on your selected VPS service with Shinjiru. Please be informed, the current node for your hosting is scheduled for urgent de-commission and a migration to a brand new server with the latest hardware is set to take place. As this is a manual offline migration, it will include a downtime period of an approximate 1-2 hours. We have chosen this method to reduce and eliminate data duplication and errors. All usernames and passwords will remain unchanged, including the current IP address. Dear Valued Customers, Please be informed that our Network Maintenance Team will be conducting an Urgent Network Maintenance in our MYS & MYA Datacentre Network. The maintenance details are as follows: Maintenance Date: 7th March 2021 Maintenance Time: 00:00 am – 04:00 am (GMT +8) Maintenance Downtime Period: 01:30 am – 02:00 am (30 minutes) Maintenance Window: 4 hours The purpose of the maintenance is due to a bug which we detect in our Router. To overcome this issue, we need to perform Router firmware update. Kindly note that the maintenance work will impact your server(s) connection.
Your server will be disconnected during the maintenance period as it will involve works on our network infrastructure. Your server will not be shut down during the maintenance. Please be informed, we have switched your account to new server now. Currently all the service is up and running.
No changes required from our end users. Following is the completed patching and updates as well: 1. Upgrade Plesk Onyx to Plesk Obsidian (Latest Plesk Version) 2. Windows Update 3. Include PHP 7.4, 8.0 into existing MultiPHP Option 4. Include latest ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core Following tasks have been put on hold as precaution to avoid impact with data inconsistency. This to be scheduled some other time. 1. MySQL Upgrade to Version 5.6 / 5.7 2. Smartermail Upgrade to Build 17 (v17) There could be some data inconsistency / loss after the restoration process. We have aborted the file system scanning as it taking longer then expected. Currently we brought the server back online. All the services is running except Plesk Control Panel (Still checking).
The server may continue to experience slowness. We will take another measure to fix since taking the server offline for another long hours may not be a feasible solution. From initial scan, we can estimate full scanning may take 3 days to complete.

We wanted to inform you that we will be performing Emergency Server Maintenance in which your account currently being hosted starting 12th Feb 2021 at 12.01am (GMT+8). We apologize for the very short notice; however, there is problem with System File which contributing to high Disk I/O and CPU usage. We identified some bad sector in the hard disk and soft repair didn't fix the issue. Currently server remain with sluggish performance and we afraid it will only get worst. Therefore, we will be taking down the server to perform full scan disk to repair all the bad sector.
This maintenance will cause interruption of services in between for hours. Rest assured that we will take every possible steps to speed up the whole process. The expected maintenance window is around 24 hours; though, it's only intermittent. Regardless, we recommend that customers avoid amending or upgrading anything in your account during this time to avoid any potential data loss issues.
Right after this maintenance, we will continue with upgrade and patching. Following are the updates that will take place during this activity:
