Dedicated hardware failure in the switches - Resolved

Dear Valued Clients,
Greetings. The network issue has been resolved by our network team. As per checked physically,
found out there was a switch went to a kernel boot failure that makes the hardware failed to recover properly. In order to resolve this issue, our network team executed a hard reboot to the switch. After the reboot executed, verified the network was up and running smoothly. In addition, our network team will contact our vendor to further investigate on this issue. Thank you very much.

Hardware Upgrading for Node: 96668 – 13th March 2021

We thank you for your tenure on your selected VPS service with Shinjiru. Please be informed, the current node for your hosting is scheduled for urgent de-commission and a migration to a brand new server with the latest hardware is set to take place. As this is a manual offline migration, it will include a downtime period of an approximate 1-2 hours. We have chosen this method to reduce and eliminate data duplication and errors. All usernames and passwords will remain unchanged, including the current IP address. The maintenance details are as follows: Maintenance Date: 7th March 2021 Maintenance Time: 00:00 am – 04:00 am (GMT +8) Maintenance Downtime Period: 01:30 am – 02:00 am (30 minutes) Maintenance Window: 4 hours The purpose of the maintenance is due to a bug which we detect in our Router. To overcome this issue, we need to perform Router firmware update. Kindly note that the maintenance work will impact your server(s) connection.
Your server will be disconnected during the maintenance period as it will involve works on our network infrastructure. Your server will not be shut down during the maintenance. Data Centre Visits

Dear Valued Client Abiding by the imposed Conditional Movement Control Order, Data Centre visits will be precautionary halted effective immediately. Non essential team members & Client visits pre-set will be rescheduled until further notice. In line of any emergency case, Clients who are in urgent need of visiting the Data Centre are responsible in presenting a Covid-19 test that is not more than 1 month old, after which, your Account Manager may guide you with the details of the safety measures that must be followed upon visit confirmation.
