HOW TO: Change PHP versions on cPanel

In order to change PHP version in cPanel please do the following:

 

==================SELECT PHP VERSION==================

1. Log in to cPanel https://ip:2083 --> click on "Select PHP Version"
 



2. Select the preferred/ required PHP version



3. Click on "Set as current" and then on Save to store your changes.

==================MULTIPHP MANAGER=================

1. Log in to cPanel https://ip:2083 --> click on "MultiPHP Manager"

 

2. Under System PHP Version, cPanel displays the default PHP version for your server. Any domain that does not have a PHP version explicitly set uses this version. To change the PHP version for a domain, under Set PHP Version per Domain, select the check box next to the domain for which you want to change the PHP version.



The new PHP version for the domain takes effect immediately.

Note: Before you change PHP version of your website make sure that your web application/website is compatible with target PHP version.
