To Insure your mail sever is tweaked correctly. Please make sure you have the following configured on your domain DNS and mail server.
Note: If your domain DNS is managed by Shinjiru and using the shared hosting environment all the above settings done by default for your domain and email server.
1. Make sure your server IP address has rDNS or PTR record. Resolved to your server hostname, and example, this will help in your email deliverability and authentication over all email severs on the internet as well as keeps your IP address clean and protected from IP blacklisting in RBL’s.
An example: ===== “101.99.77.90” resolve to a hostname “antares.awedns.com” =====
In order to set the rDNS/OTR, Please email our support team at support@247livesupport.biz or submit a ticket on https://247livesupport.biz to set the rDNS or PTR for your server IP address. All you have to provide is the hostname or the domain name that you want to use.
2. Add SPF record: Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record. SPF verifies that the messages your domains send originated from a listed server. In addition, it provides a list of servers approved to send mail from your domains. You can copy the SPF record from your cPanel > Email Deliverability to your domain DNS server.
An example will of SPF record will like below:
===== domain.com TXT "v=spf1 mx a ip4:124.217.247.0/24 a:mail.domain.com ~all" =====
3. Add DKIM record:
Domain Keys Identified Mail (DKIM) record. DKIM verifies the sender and the integrity of a message. In addition, it allows an email system to prove that spammers did not alter an incoming message while in transit. DKIM also verifies that the messages your domains receive come from the specified domain.
An example will of DKIM record will like below: ===== default._domainkey.domain.com. TXT v=DKIM1; k=rsa; p=MIIBIjANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQEFAAOCAQ8AMIIBCgKCAQEAp8RXvyeGK9t+vsATWEgx8IO70JWIUaj2yIvKMcb0N5tAWX8cvec41WI2FqLsJ10qNq+bgVPoo9e1l1+IHPiQYK4ZQ4a+a90S2xjvIPAliMpmP7bvZ1CN7TlJVWx9aIROWVIDkkyw8XMoCxyyIhB2Umju9dJQXiTZf0Nocnr5WdSURi/wNHJxRqDZUTvGVrQQ1kG+H3TVizuMlVNmeSO/Ss4L5x0YOij4FX8Wa8TByxYjq+sDxYvfVHhX6AFZdxbs82d542Asgcx7ACNqrAEwFHj/wCmbIqiebCGsA1EoMpqNAhjcBBamoRKr+eWNbZuvMhl6u8EklIBBurIKWVTIFQIDAQAB; =====
