Changing the root/administrator password for your Automated VPS within the Billing Portal is simple and SECURE!

Go to your respective active VPS

In the Root Password field,  click on Pencil icon to change root password.

You will be asked to enter root's new password

NOTES:

Aside alphanumeric characters ( alphabets and numbers), there are a few exception of supported symbol characters.

Unsupported symbols - ~ ? & ( ) / \ | = , . ; : ' " [ { } ] < >

Supported symbols - ! @ # $ % ^ * - + _

If you have entered some unsupported characters, you will receive Root password invalid message. This simply means the password contains one or more unsupported characters.

The system will display new password status if entered correctly.

You may use new root password when SSH to your VPS.
