Planned Data Centre Power Maintenance - 8th January 2022

Dear Valued Customers,

Please be informed that our Data Centre Maintenance Team will be conducting a Planned Data Centre Power Maintenance in our Data Centre.

The maintenance is conducted to perform our Data Centre main power source part inspection and replacement to maintain excellent service for our customers. This maintenance is crucial in order to avoid any interruption or power outage in the future. Only customers who received notification via E-Mail will be affected by this maintenance.

The maintenance details are as follows:

Maintenance Date: 8th January 2022
Maintenance Time: 08:00 – 12:00 (GMT +8)
Maintenance Downtime: 08:30 (GMT +8)
Maintenance Downtime Period: 2 hours
Maintenance Window: 4 hours

Please be informed that your server will be shut down during the maintenance period as it involves works on our main power source. Customers are strongly advised to shut down their server in advance to avoid any forced shut down from our end.

Please avoid amending or accessing your server during the Maintenance period to avoid data inconsistency. We strongly advise all customers to stop any activity as connectivity interruption during maintenance will result in data loss or corruption.

Should you require support assistance or feedback about the maintenance, kindly reply to this email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

International Server Outage - Update v2

Attention : International Server Outage - Update (V2):
 
Dear Valued Customer,
 
Please be informed, following servers are already in midst of restoration process using remote backup:
 
i. 111.90.156.115 (venom.steeldns.com) - COMPLETED
ii. 46.17.98.118 (sparrow.myhostcpl.com) - 80% COMPLETED (It may take another 6-8 hours to complete)
 
NOTE: Customers from both servers above will be receiving an email notice that include New Server Details.
 
iii. 31.192.106.162 (shepherd.myhostcpl.com) - Pending
iv. 91.210.107.53 (polar.argondns.net) - Pending
 
For another 2 servers that pending, we haven't initiate the transfer due to resource limitation. All services in these 2 servers are still online. We shall be migrating the account to Malaysia location on temporary basis within 24-48 hours from now.
 
From our deeper investigation, we found this to be an OS Bug which has been highlighted in this article (https://access.redhat.com/discussions/3536621). There is no solution offered for the OS Version that we are using and the damage is quite severe. Therefore, as mentioned earlier, restoring your account to another hardware is the best solution available.
 
We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences caused. We will be updating the news from time to time.

Shinjiru Cloud Urgent Maintenance

Dear Valued Customers,

We wanted to inform you that we will be performing Emergency Infra Maintenance for Shinjiru Cloud Backup Services" on 30th DEC 2021 starting at 10:00AM (GMT+8).
We apologize for the very short notice; however, in order to ensure System reliability, we must apply this critical maintenance at our earliest opportunity.
Backup from the main storage will be purged and Paid backup services will have external backup copy which might not be the latest copy depending on backup policy schedules and export schedule.


Maintenance details are as follows:

Infra: Shinjiru Cloud Backup
Date & Time: 30th Nov 2021 @10.00am (GMT+8).
Maintenance Duration: 5 days
Downtime Duration: 5 days (Not effecting Production)

Services hosted in this infra will be down throughout the maintenance.

This will not effect any production environment and we will do our very best to complete it at the earliest.

The expected maintenance window is few days.

Please do not do any administrative task on your Cloud environment to give way to the Urgent maintenance.

ATTENTION: Urgent Power Maintenance at Holland Data Centre, Affected Server: Holland#13

Please be informed that our data centre provider in Holland has scheduled urgent power maintenance. The purpose of the maintenance is to upgrade the data centre power system.

Hence, there will be downtime for all the VPS residing in the host server, as the host server will be powered off during the maintenance.

The maintenance will commence as stated below:
