Urgent Switch Firmware Upgrade Maintenance - 9th October 2022

ATTENTION: To All Dedicated Server Administrators/Owners in AIMS MYS Data Centre

Dear Valued Customers,

Network Maintenance Team will be conducting an Urgent Switch Firmware Upgrade. We detect a firmware bug on the switch where your server currently connected. The bug can leave your server connection vulnerable.

The purpose of this maintenance is to upgrade the switch firmware to the latest version which will provide new security patch.

Only customers which receive maintenance downtime details via email will be affected by this maintenance.
The maintenance details are as below:

Maintenance Date: 9th October 2022
Maintenance Time: 12:00AM – 01:00AM (GMT +8)
Maintenance Downtime Period: 30 minutes
Maintenance Window: 1 hour
=========

Your server will be disconnected during the maintenance period as it will involve works on our network backend. Your server will not be shut down during the maintenance.

Please avoid amending or accessing your server during this Maintenance time due to data inconsistency reasons.

We strongly advise all customers to perform data backup to avoid any unwanted incident.

We highly appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Power Outage - PLTPRO DC

UPDATE:

Dear Sirs/Mdms,
 
We are sorry to inform you that at around 22:00 MYT there was a power supply outage incident at the data center.
 
This incident has caused one of the Power Distribution Unit (PDU) in  the server room to trip.
 
The impact of the power trip was one of the two sub-PDUs on some racks was without power, single power source failure.
 
The incident was reported to the command center where electrical charge men were dispatched to rectify the issue, and the failed source was restored around 23:55.
 
An incident report would be shared once ready.
 
We apologize for the inconvenience caused and we thank you for your patience.
